MEMBERSHIP IN HUDSON GARDEN CLUB – OHIO

 

To join or renew your membership and pay dues for Hudson Garden Club – Ohio, click on and complete this Online Membership Form. After completing your membership form, you will be directed to the Payments page to complete your membership.

 

Our membership is open to all. Anyone with an interest in gardening, whether an accomplished gardener or a beginner, is welcome to join our club. Information about our meetings appears in our monthly newsletter, e-communications and on our Facebook page.


A club membership includes much more than our general meetings! Take garden-related field trips, attend informational Gardener-to-Gardener workshops, enjoy flower arranging events and have fun while learning at Herb Group gatherings.


Members receive a monthly Hudson Garden Club – Ohio newsletter detailing the upcoming activities. As a member, you can make friends with other like-minded people by being involved in our Home and Garden Tour, Youth Programs, Herb Group or one of our many committees.


Members have the opportunity each year to join at one of three different levels:


Daisy –   $35
Lilac –    $50
Peony –  $75

 

We hope that you will consider joining at the Lilac or Peony sponsorship levels to further enable the Hudson Garden Club – OHIO to continue to enrich our community.

Overview Of Activities

 

  • May Day baskets – made and delivered in Hudson
  • Earth Day
  • Field Trips – Garden-related trips for planting and design ideas. Spring greenhouse trips.
  • Flower Arranging A hands-on opportunity to learn the art of flower arranging.
  • Gardener-to-Gardener – Talks by members and spring garden tips from composting to
    plant care.
  • Herb Group Learning – to grow herbs and enjoying them in many different and creative
    ways.
  • Plant Exchange – share plants from your yard bi-annually. Can also buy plants donated by
    others.
  • Youth Activities – working with Youth Chair bagging seeds for Green Thumb, trees for
  • Arbor Day activity in April, Harvest Fair in the Fall.
  • Home & Garden Tour – many volunteer opportunities – Hostess at a home or garden. Sell
    at the Garden Shop. Assist in the Tea Room or bake goodies. Sell tickets. Help control
    traffic. Share flowers.
  • Arrange flowers.

Meeting Information

Hudson Garden Club General Meetings are generally held the third Thursday of the month. The social part of the meeting starts at 6:45pm with the meeting following
promptly at 7:00pm unless otherwise posted.

Note: We do not meet in January or February.
